Gentle Baby is back in stock! This amazing oil is a blend of Rosewood, Geranium, palmarosa, lavender, Roman chamomile, ylang ylang, lemon, jasmine, bergamot, and rose. I made this body butter simply out of organic shea butter, coconut oil, Young Living's V-6 and Young Living's Gentle Baby. Learn more about how to use this blend and the recipe here.
Aromatherapy is great for kids! It can be used to boost confidence, lift moods and even help them get a good nights sleep. Check out this recipe to make your own aromatherapy sprays.

This recipe for a lavender salt scrub is AMAZING! It's easy to make, moisturizing and great for your skin. Simply whip 1 2/3 cups coconut oil in a mixer and add 1/3 cup grapeseed oil and a cup of epsom salt. Once it's a nice consistency add 20 drops of lavender essential oil (or your favorite EO) and add to containers. I used 8oz mason jars and this recipe made 3 salt scrubs. Enjoy!

Have you tried a detox bath? This simple recipe makes a great base for adding essential oils. My favorite blend for a cold/flu: eucalyptus radiata and white fir. If you have the starter kit these are couple of great mixes: lavender and peace & calming or lavender, lemon and peppermint. You can even add some ground ginger if you're trying to really sweat out some toxins.

Cold and flu season are here and it's time to bring out the Thieves. Thieves was the very first oil and spray that I used from Young Living (and I was hooked). I was introduced to this powerful blend by my very talented acupuncturist, Joanna Resnick at Gentle Heart Acupuncture. I love the way it smells (like Christmas) and fills my house with an amazing aroma that also helps fight off some germs.

Cedarwood essential oil is amazing! It can help with everything from getting a great night’s sleep to hair loss and everything in between. It’s a very calming oil that may also help with nervous tension, aiding concentration and brain function. Cedarwood has the highest sesquiterpene content of any oil at 98%! To learn more about sesquiterpene check out this article.
My dad recently had knee surgery on a torn meniscus and it's still pretty sore. Last time I went home I whipped a batch of this amazing homemade pain cream. PanAway is an great mix of wintergreen, Helichrysum, clove and peppermint which can reduce inflammation and help with pain. Valor is one of my favorite Young Living blends with rosewood oil, spruce, frankincense and blue tansy. This mix not only smells great but provides some extra relief to any sore muscles or injuries.
DiGize is one of the first oils I bought after the starter kit. I often get stomach aches and I can't tell you how much this oil has helped me! I simply rub a few drops on my stomach or can mix with water if your nausea isn't too bad. You can also rub it on the bottom of your feet for some relief.
